Brooks

Global Mobilization Director

Ministry Role & Responsibility: My role is to help the church to see the great commission as a command for all of God's people, not just a chosen few. I help to provide opportunities for every member of Brook Hills to engage with missions whether through praying, giving, going, or a number of other avenues. One of the clearest ways I do this is by overseeing our short term mission trips and equipping our leaders.

About Me: I was born and raised in Birmingham and grew up here at The Church at Brook Hills. I had the privilege of attending Auburn University where I studied nursing. Both in high school and college, I was able to spend my summers serving midterm around the world where I developed a love for God's mission and the lost. I was able to complete a pastoral internship at my local church in Auburn that helped grow my love for teaching, the church, and mobilizing God's people. I reconnected with my lovely wife, Haley, at the end of my college years and we got married in August of 2021. We have the joy of being parents to our son, Judson, and we have a daughter on the way! I worked as an emergency room nurse for four years before God called me back to Brook Hills.

Favorite Scripture:

"For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." – 2 Corinthians 5:21

Interesting Fact: Before ministry, I spent time as both a high school basketball coach and an ER nurse. That means I can both break your ankles and put them back together.
