Pray for the Church
Praise God for His love and faithfulness in all of our lives. Ask Him to continue to develop His righteousness in each of our lives. Pray for God’s goodness and justice to be executed throughout the world. Pray for God’s name to be exalted among all peoples on Earth. Ask God to develop within each of us a heart for serving with gladness. Pray for us all to fulfill our role in seeing succeeding generations come to know God and worship Him forever.

Day 1: Pray for Aspire’s impact and influence to grow so that more at-risk urban youth can be paired with godly mentors for encouragement, discipleship, and leadership development.
Day 2: Pray for more mentors to invest in the next generation by becoming an Aspire mentor, teaching students how to follow Jesus and modeling a life of glad submission to God’s will.
Day 3: Pray for God to establish deep relationships between mentors and students for mutually transforming impact and for bothpartiestobecommittedtogrowinginChrist-likenesstogether.

Pray for the World
This week we are praying for Brook Hills’ Long-Term Missionaries, The Hansen Family, serving in Kenya. Erik Hansen serves as a pediatric surgeon at the Kijabe Hospital outside of Nairobi. He and his wife Amanda raise their four children and minister to other children alongside an organization called BethanyKids. They are also engaging those they meet with the gospel in order to strengthen the local church in Kenya. For more information follow their blog at uncommonroad.blogspot.com. We are also praying for our Short-Term teams serving in North Africa and South Asia.
Day 1: The Hansens are stateside for a few months to visit family and friends as well as attend a few conferences. Pray for their family to enjoy time together and for traveling mercies as they visit different places while they are here.
Day 2: Pray for peace for the Hansen children as they are here in the U.S. They are excited to be in the States, but also are missing their friends and life in Kenya.
Day 3: Erik leads the Pediatric Surgery Residency program at Kijabe Hospital. Pray for wisdom for the selection committee as they interview candidates for the program.
Day 4: Praise God for the provision of a new Children’s Centre for pediatric patients at Kijabe Hospital. Pray for this wing of the hospital to be a blessing to children throughout East Africa who will be patients there.
Day 5: Praise God for the opportunities He has given Erik and Amanda to share the gospel in their work and ministry. Pray for a renewed vision and spirit to what God has called their family to.
Day 6: Pray for God to encourage and strengthen the Hansens as they diligently work and live in an area where so many physical needs exist.
