Praise God for His design for motherhood. Pray all of our mothers will embrace their role and responsibility in preparing their children for the lives to which God has called them. Pray for women who desire to have children but have found that to be a struggle to find comfort in God and His plan for them. Pray for mothers whose children have passed away to find peace in God. Pray for women throughout our faith family who are spiritual mothers to so many to continue in making disciples both here and among the nations.

This week we are praying for Brother Bryan Mission (BBM), a residential Christian recovery and work-readiness program ministering to economically, emotionally, and spiritually impoverished men in Birmingham. The goal of BBM is for each client to return to his family, church, and community free from addiction, with stable employment and housing, and with a healthy relationship with God and others. We are also praying for Christ Fellowship Church and Pastor Bart Box.

DAY 1: Pray for the spiritual vitality of the men in the residential programs at BBM. Pray they will each find hope and the power to change in the gospel of Jesus and that they will submit to God’s will for their lives.

DAY 2: Pray for the wonderful staff God has assembled to minister to the broken through this ministry. Pray they would abide in Christ and be filled with His Spirit as they give of themselves to this ministry.

DAY 3: Pray for God to grant BBM wisdom, sufficient resources, and laborers to respond to the high demand for their programs and services so that all seeking refuge and restoration can be served and none turned away.

DAY 4: Pray for those who are now exiting BBM and transitioning back into their communities. Pray for God to quickly provide employment, housing, a local church, and strong support systems. 

DAY 5: Pray for God to provide the workers and funds to expand the ministry to 100 beds in the next couple of years. 

DAY 6: Praise God for what He has done through the ministry of Brother Bryan Mission and for the many lives that have been touched by the Spirit of God through His Word!

This week we are praying for Brook Hills Field Partner, Compassion International. Compassion is a long-time partner with The Church at Brook Hills that helps to release children from the cycle of poverty in Jesus’ name. The Church at Brook Hills has partnered and sponsored Survival Programs through Compassion International since 2009. These Survival Programs help pregnant mothers and mothers with infants living in poverty have the opportunity to thrive and survive in the first years of life. We are also praying for our Short-Term team serving in East Asia and Southeast Asia. 

DAY 1: Pray for God to continue to use Compassion throughout the world to help children living in poverty know the hope of Christ.

DAY 2: Pray for the mothers who are part of the Child Survival Programs. Pray for God to transform their lives through Christ Jesus. 

DAY 3: Praise God for Compassion International and the 1.3 million children living in poverty who are currently sponsored through this organization.

DAY 4: Pray for the Child Survival Programs we as a church get to sponsor. Pray through this partnership many families in these areas will have what they need to survive and many unreached peoples can hear the gospel. 

DAY 5: Pray for the pastors and churches that are connected to the Survival Programs. Pray for their faith families to be strengthened as they care for the poor through Compassion in their community.

DAY 6: Pray for the ministry of Compassion International to expand. Pray for God to give wisdom to leadership as they continue to work to release children from the cycle of poverty in Jesus’ name.
