Pray for the Church
Praise God for His faithfulness and for the many ways He displays this quality throughout our lives. Ask Him to grow our trust and reliance on Him, even when things seem bleak and hopeless. Pray for our own faithfulness in light of His to serve as a beacon for others around us to see and recognize the glory of God on display.
Pray for the City
This week we are praying for the ESL Rock the Block hosted here on our campus by our English as a Second Language Ministry (ESL) the week of July 9-12. At ESL Rock the Block, our ESL families will have the opportunity to learn more about Jesus through gospel-centered games, songs, Bible stories, and crafts. We are also praying for the Birmingham International Church and Pastor Ron Higey.
Pray for the World
This week we are praying for Brook Hills Mid-Termers Ethan, Josh, and Jacob serving in Southeast Asia this summer. Ethan, Josh, and Jacob are focusing their time on engaging people living in their city who have never heard the gospel. They have been in their city for over a month now and have met many new friends and God has given them many opportunities to share the gospel. Join us as we pray for Ethan, Josh, and Jacob.

Sound of Adoration
Verse 1
When we were lost ones
You were the Shepherd that carried us home
When we were prodigals
You ran to meet us with open arms
And we can't hold back our praise
Verse 2
When we were refugees
You were the One who took us in
When we were enemies
You paid the price for all our sin
And we can't hold back our praise
Chorus
This is the sound of adoration
Oh how we love You
Jesus we love You
You are the joy of all creation
Oh we love You
Jesus we love You
Verse 3
You are the Risen One
You conquered death and made a way
You sang our freedom song
Now we are dancing on our chains
And we can't hold back our praise
Bridge
By the cross I am free
Your grace changes ev'rything
I was blind now I see
Your grace changes ev'rything
Bless the Lord (Son of Man)
Son of Man, Son of Righteousness
King of the earth for sinners slain
I was lost in darkness bound
You ransomed my heart and I will sing
My strength, My deliverer
The One who rescues me
My hope, My redeemer
Your love has set me free
Bless the Lord, O my soul (4x)
In the splendor of Your majesty
From deep within my spirit sings
Holy, holy
Bless the Lord, O my soul (4x)
Who You Say I Am
Verse 1
Who am I that the highest King
Would welcome me
I was lost but He brought me in
Oh His love for me
Oh His love for me
Chorus 1
Who the Son sets free
Oh is free indeed
I'm a child of God
Yes I am
Verse 2
Free at last
He has ransomed me
His grace runs deep
While I was a slave to sin
Jesus died for me
Yes He died for me
Chorus 2
In my Father's house
There's a place for me
I'm a child of God
Yes I am
Bridge
I am chosen not forsaken
I am who You say I am
You are for me not against me
I am who You say I am
TAG
(Oh) (Yes) I am who You say I am
Before the Throne of God Above
Verse 1
Before the throne of God above
I have a strong and perfect plea
A great High Priest whose name is love
Who ever lives and pleads for me
My name is graven on His hands
My name is written on His heart
I know that while in heav’n He stands
No tongue can bid me thence depart
No tongue can bid me thence depart
Verse 2
When Satan tempts me to despair
And tells me of the guilt within
Upward I look and see Him there
Who made an end of all my sin
Because the sinless Savior died
My sinful soul is counted free
For God the Just is satisfied
To look on Him and pardon me
To look on Him and pardon me
Verse 3
Behold Him there, the risen Lamb
My perfect, spotless Righteousness
The great unchangeable I AM
The King of glory and of grace
One with Himself, I cannot die
My soul is purchased by His blood
My life is hid with Christ on high
With Christ my Savior and my God
With Christ my Savior and my God
By Faith
Verse 1
By faith we see the hand of God
In the light of creation's grand design
In the lives of those who prove His faithfulness
Who walk by faith and not by sight
Verse 2
By faith our fathers roamed the earth
With the pow'r of His promise in their hearts
Of a holy city built by God's own hand
A place where peace and justice reign
Chorus
We will stand as children of the promise
We will fix our eyes on Him our soul's reward
Till the race is finished and the work is done
We'll walk by faith and not by sight
Verse 3
By faith the prophets saw a day
When the longed-for Messiah would appear
With the pow'r to break the chains of sin and death
And rise triumphant from the grave
Verse 4
By faith the church was called to go
In the pow'r of the Spirit to the lost
To deliver captives and to preach good news
In ev'ry corner of the earth
Verse 5
By faith the mountain shall be moved
And the pow'r of the gospel shall prevail
For we know in Christ all things are possible
For all who call upon His name
