Pray for the Church
Praise God for hearing us when we cry out to Him and for answering our prayers. Pray for God’s provision and deliverance for all those you know who are suffering. Ask God to save those you know without Christ. Pray for Him to soften their hearts to the gospel and to bring them to faith. Ask Him to use you however He wills to share the hope of His gospel. Pray for the growth of God’s church among all peoples of the world.
Pray for the City
This week we are praying for Brook Hills students of all ages who will begin a new school year in the next couple of weeks. We also want to pray for their parents, teachers, administrators, mentors, and spiritual leaders as they work to equip their students to reach their full potential and enjoy God’s good design for their lives. We are also praying for Mountain Brook Community Church and Pastor Tim Kallam.
DAY 1: Pray for our students to know, grow, and trust in Christ this year. Pray for them to know Christ more deeply, one step at a time.
DAY 2: Pray for our students to take advantage of opportunities to influence friends, classmates, and school staff to know and grow in Christ. Pray they would be bold in displaying and declaring the gospel to others.
DAY 3: Pray for teachers and administrators to have wisdom, skill, sensitivity, patience, and endurance as they help students learn and grow.
DAY 4: Pray for our students to grow in knowledge, maturity, and ability as they prepare themselves to achieve God’s purposes for their lives.
DAY 5: Pray for the right amount of rest for students and staff. Pray for students and staff to grow in self-discipline.
DAY 6: Pray for parents as they guide, encourage, and support their students this year. Pray they would be able to guide them toward strong faith in Christ.
Pray for the World
This week we are praying for our new Global Pastor, Chip Bugnar, and his family as they transition to Birmingham and begin their leadership here at The Church at Brook Hills. We are excited to welcome them into our faith family and praise God for how He has provided for this new season as a church. Join us as we pray for Chip and his family.
DAY 1: Praise God for His grace in bringing Chip, Rebecca, and their children Emma, Owen, Ben, and Simeon to Brook Hills.
DAY 2: Pray for Chip, Rebecca, and the kids as they establish their new home and find their place in our city. Pray for the Lord to guide them in the days to come.
DAY 3: Pray for Emma, Owen, Ben, and Simeon as they meet and make new friends and start school. Pray for protection from the evil one as they navigate this transition.
DAY 4: Pray for God to give Chip wisdom and guidance needed to best shepherd our faith family in our gospel efforts around the world.
DAY 5: Pray for God to give times of spiritual and physical rest as they adjust to life and ministry in Birmingham. Pray for Chip and his family to rest in the reality of the cross and what Christ has done for us.
DAY 6: Pray for God to receive great glory in and through this transition, both now and in the days ahead.

Who You Say I Am
Verse 1
Who am I that the highest King
Would welcome me
I was lost but He brought me in
Oh His love for me
Oh His love for me
Chorus 1
Who the Son sets free
Oh is free indeed
I'm a child of God
Yes I am
Verse 2
Free at last
He has ransomed me
His grace runs deep
While I was a slave to sin
Jesus died for me
Yes He died for me
Chorus 2
In my Father's house
There's a place for me
I'm a child of God
Yes I am
Bridge
I am chosen not forsaken
I am who You say I am
You are for me not against me
I am who You say I am
TAG
(Oh) (Yes) I am who You say I am
Jesus Firm Foundation
Verse 1
How firm a foundation you saints of the Lord
Is laid for your faith in His excellent Word
What more can He say than to you He has said
To you who for refuge to Jesus have fled
Fear not He is with us O be not dismayed
For He is our God our Sustainer and Strength
He'll be our Defender and cause us to stand
Upheld by His merciful almighty hand
Chorus
How firm our foundation
How sure our salvation
And we will not be shaken
Jesus firm foundation
Verse 2
The soul that is trusting in Jesus as Lord
Will press on enduring the darkest of storm
And though even hell should endeavor to shake
He'll never no never no never forsake
He'll never no never no never forsake
Bridge
Age to age He stands faithful to the end
All may fade away but He will remain
He will remain
Worthy of Your Name
Worthy Of Your Name
Verse 1
Rumors of the Son of Man
Stories of a Savior
Holiness with human hands
Treasure for the traitor
No ear has heard no eye has seen
The image of the Father
Until heaven came to live with me
A rescue like no other
Chorus 1
(Yes) You are worthy
You are worthy of Your name
You are worthy yes You are
You are worthy of Your name Jesus
Verse 2
You did not speak You made no sound
You died for Your accusers
And as Your blood fell to the ground
You redefined my future
Yeah on the day that You arose
The darkness ran for cover
For the King of kings has claimed His throne
Now until forever
Bridge
You're my author my maker my ransom my Savior
My refuge my hiding place
You're my helper my healer my blessed Redeemer
My answer my saving grace
You're my hope in the shadows
My strength in the battle
My anchor for all my days
And You stand by my side and You stood in my place
Jesus no other name
Only Jesus no other name
Chorus 2
You are worthy
You are worthy of Your name
You are worthy yeah
You are worthy of Your name
You are worthy
You are worthy of Your name
You are worthy yes You are
You are worthy of Your name Jesus
We Will Feast in the House of Zion
Chorus
We will feast in the house of Zion
We will sing with our hearts restored
He has done great things we will say together
We will feast and weep no more
Verse 1
We will not be burned by the fire
He is the Lord our God
We are not consumed by the flood
Upheld protected gathered up
Verse 2
In the dark of night before the dawn
My soul be not afraid
For the promised morning oh how long
Oh God of Jacob be my strength
Verse 3
Every vow we’ve broken and betrayed
You are the faithful one
And from the garden to the grave
Bind us together bring shalom
Man Of Sorrows
Man of sorrows Lamb of God
By His own betrayed
The sin of man and wrath of God
Has been on Jesus laid
Oh that rugged cross my salvation
Where Your love poured out over me
Now my soul cries out hallelujah
Praise and honour unto Thee
Silent as He stood accused
Beaten mocked and scorned
Bowing to the Father's will
He took a crown of thorns
Oh that rugged cross my salvation
Where Your love poured out over me
Now my soul cries out hallelujah
Praise and honour unto Thee
Sent of heaven God's own Son
To purchase and redeem
And reconcile the very ones
Who nailed Him to that tree
Now my debt is paid
It is paid in full
By the precious blood
That my Jesus spilled
Now the curse of sin
Has no hold on me
Whom the Son sets free
Oh is free indeed
See the stone is rolled away
Behold the empty tomb
Hallelujah God be praised
He's risen from the grave
