Praise God for sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to come and make a way for us to be reconciled to Him. Ask the Spirit to reveal to us and convict us of any conflicted relationships we have in our lives, particularly with fellow Christ-followers. Pray for God’s help in bringing about reconciliation in our relationships. Pray for the world to know us by our love for one another and for all those around us.

This week we are praying for racial reconciliation and unity in the Body of Christ, especially in Birmingham, for the sake of effectively demonstrating, displaying, and declaring the power of gospel together. We are also praying for New Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church and Pastor Thomas Beavers.

DAY 1: Pray for all church leaders in Birmingham to reflect the unity of the Spirit by initiating partnerships and friendships with one another to display, demonstrate, and declare the gospel across our city.

DAY 2: Pray for all believers across Birmingham to pursue unity with believers of other ethnicities showing love, grace, and humility in a way that displays Christ’s character to the entire city.

DAY 3: Pray for the advancement of the gospel and the planting of new churches throughout Birmingham among all ethnicities and within all communities.

DAY 4: Pray for the Spirit to lead Christians of all ethnicities to walk in forgiveness toward one another, extending grace to those who have caused division or have acted unjustly in their prejudices.

DAY 5: Pray for evangelical church leaders across the city especially to be willing to mobilize their people to make disciples in urban areas and among ethnicities that are isolated from the Church.

DAY 6: Pray for God to make us aware of our own sin, prejudices, ignorance, and apathy and would use our faith family to tear down the barriers that continue to divide His Body in Birmingham.

This week we are praying for our Brook Hills field partners Greg and Beth B. serving in North Africa. Greg and Beth serve as our primary partners in mobilizing medical professionals from Brook Hills to serve in clinics throughout their city. These clinics provide opportunities for local believers to reach out to their Muslim neighbors with care and the gospel. Join us this week as we pray for our partners and for the work that God will accomplish through one of our short-term teams serving there this week. We are also praying for our short-term team serving in the Middle East.

DAY 1: This week we have a Brook Hills team serving in North Africa with Greg and his team. Pray for the Brook Hills members who are there this week to be effective as they serve and share the gospel.

DAY 2: Pray for the Brook Hills team to be an encouragement to the local believers they will be serving with this week.

DAY 3: Pray for the local believers and churches that host the medical clinics. Pray for God to make them bold as they share the gospel with their community that can often times be resistant to the good news.

DAY 4: There is often times unrest in the city where Greg and his team serve. Pray for the Lord to guide their steps and make them wise as serpents and innocent as doves (Matthew 10:16).

DAY 5: Pray for God to open the hearts and minds of the Muslim patients who will come into the medical clinics. Pray for many to believe.

DAY 6: Praise God for the people He has healed physically and spiritually through these medical clinics. Pray for more to believe and for the church to multiply throughout the city.
