Pray for the Church
Praise God for lovingly and graciously welcoming us into His family. Ask the Spirit to develop us into a welcoming people. Pray for
wisdom in how to graciously engage our neighbors in friendship. Pray for God to soften hearts of those around us to the gospel
through our loving interaction with them.
Pray for the City
This week we are praying for the ministry of Shepherd’s Fold, Inc., a Christian residential and life transformation center for men and
women being released from prison. Shepherd’s Fold equips men and women to make genuine life transformation after prison and to
become contributing members of society, finding total freedom from the inside out. For more information, go to sfalabama.org. We
are also praying for Asbury United Methodist and Pastor Kip Laxon.
DAY 1: Pray for the local parole board to favorably consider Shepherds Fold as a re-entry plan for men and women who are
currently awaiting release from incarceration.
DAY 2: Pray the men and women being released from prison and entering the residential programs of Shepherd’s Fold will find
total freedom in Jesus Christ and be changed from the inside out.
DAY 3: Pray for the men and women who have successfully completed the 6-month transitional program to surround
themselves with healthy and Christ-centered community as they continue to pursue God’s design for their lives.
DAY 4: Pray for a smooth transition for the 55 men and women who will be released from prison over the next 5 weeks to
enter Shepherd’s Fold and reside in their brand new facility.
DAY 5: Pray for the staff as they prayerfully consider all potential applicants and seek God for wisdom in being faithful stewards
of their resources.
DAY 6: Pray for the Shepherd’s Fold Spring Banquet on March 2nd and for the guest speaker, David Ring, who will encourage
those in prison and re-entry ministry through his own testimony of overcoming adversity through faith in Christ.
Pray for the World
This week we are praying for an unreached people group called the Hui. There are around 15 million Hui in China and only a
handful of believers. There is no known Hui church and access to Hui communities can be challenging. The Hui are an ethnically
Chinese Muslim people group. To be Hui is to be Muslim – it is the core of who they are. Even if they don’t fully understand it, or
even follow it the same as some other countries do, it has been hidden deep inside of them from the time they were very young.
Mandarin Chinese is the heart language of the Hui in both spoken and written. But their spiritual language is a mixture of Arabic
and Persian. Close to 99% of the Hui population is Muslim. It is estimated that .006% are Evangelical Christians. For more information
visit pray4hui.com.
DAY 1: Although there are 15 million Hui scattered throughout China, very few (including the Chinese church) are intentionally
planting their lives among the Hui to tell them about Christ. The Hui are in desperate need of more laborers to boldly proclaim the
gospel. Pray for God to send thousands of workers into the harvest among the Hui.
DAY 2: Most Hui are hostile towards the gospel and reject it at all costs. Pray for God to stir within the hearts of Hui men and women a
desire to know more about Christ. Pray for God to open their eyes to see their need for a Savior.
DAY 3: The church has grown exponentially among the majority Han people and they have visions of taking the gospel to other
nations. Pray for God to give Han church leaders a vision to reach their Hui neighbors.
DAY 4: Pray for many Hui to hear the gospel, repent, and believe in Christ and for God to use Han believers as agents for
accomplishing this mission.
DAY 5: Many Hui believers experience isolation and loneliness. Ask God to help Hui believers find one another so they might grow
together and encourage each other. Pray for the Hui believers to boldly share, even though it will cost them greatly.
DAY 6: Thank God for the Brook Hills Church Planting Team we currently have working among the Hui. Pray for the relationships they
have with their Hui friends to bear fruit as we long to see the first convert and the beginning of the Hui church.

The Lion and the Lamb
Verse 1
He's coming on the clouds
Kings and kingdoms will bow down
And every chain will break
As broken hearts declare His praise
For who can stop the Lord almighty
Chorus
Our God is the Lion
The Lion of Judah
He's roaring with power
And fighting our battles
And every knee will bow before Him
Our God is the Lamb
The Lamb that was slain
For the sin of the world
His blood breaks the chains
And every knee will bow before the Lion and the Lamb
Oh every knee will bow before the Lion and the Lamb
Verse 2
So open up the gates
Make way before the King of kings
Our God who comes to save
Is here to set the captives free
For who can stop the Lord almighty
Bridge
Who can stop the Lord almighty
Who can stop the Lord (almighty)
Jesus Firm Foundation
Verse 1
How firm a foundation you saints of the Lord
Is laid for your faith in His excellent Word
What more can He say than to you He has said
To you who for refuge to Jesus have fled
Fear not He is with us O be not dismayed
For He is our God our Sustainer and Strength
He'll be our Defender and cause us to stand
Upheld by His merciful almighty hand
Chorus
How firm our foundation
How sure our salvation
And we will not be shaken
Jesus firm foundation
Verse 2
The soul that is trusting in Jesus as Lord
Will press on enduring the darkest of storm
And though even hell should endeavor to shake
He'll never no never no never forsake
He'll never no never no never forsake
Bridge
Age to age He stands faithful to the end
All may fade away but He will remain
He will remain
Reign in Us
Verse 1
You thought of us before the world began to breathe
And You knew our names before we came to be
You saw the very day we'd fall away from You
And how desp'rately we need to be redeemed
Lord Jesus come lead us
We're desp'rate for Your touch
Chorus
Oh great and mighty One
With one desire we come
That You would reign
That You would reign in us
We're off'ring up our lives
A living sacrifice
That You would reign
That You would reign in us
Verse 2
Spirit of the living God fall fresh again
Come search our hearts and purify our lives
We need Your perfect love we need Your discipline
We're lost unless You guide us with Your light
Lord Jesus come lead us
We're desp'rate for Your touch
Bridge
We cry out for Your life to refine us
Cry out for Your love to define us
Cry out for Your mercy to keep us
Blameless until You return
All I Have is Christ
Verse 1
I once was lost in darkest night
Yet thought I knew the way
The sin that promised joy and life
Had led me to the grave
I had no hope that You would own
A rebel to Your will
And if You had not loved me first
I would refuse You still
Verse 2
But as I ran my hell-bound race
Indifferent to the cost
You looked upon my helpless state
And led me to the cross
And I beheld God's love displayed
You suffered in my place
You bore the wrath reserved for me
Now all I know is grace
Chorus
Hallelujah all I have is Christ
Hallelujah Jesus is my life
Verse 3
Now Lord I would be Yours alone
And live so all might see
The strength to follow Your commands
Could never come from me
O Father use my ransomed life
In any way You choose
And let my song forever be
My only boast is You
Not in Me
No list of sins I have not done
No list of virtues I pursue
No list of those I am not like
Can earn myself a place with you
O God! Be merciful to me
I am a sinner through and through
My only hope of righteousness
Is not in me, but only You
No humble dress, no fervent prayer
No lifted hands, no tearful song
No recitation of the truth
Can justify a single wrong
My righteousness is Jesus' life
My debt was paid by Jesus' death
My weary load was borne by Him
And He alone can give me rest
No separation from the world
No work I do, no gift I give
Can cleanse my conscience, cleanse my hands
I cannot cause my soul to live
But Jesus died and rose again
The power of death is overthrown
My God is merciful to me
And merciful in Christ alone
My righteousness is Jesus' life
My debt was paid by Jesus' death
My weary load was borne by Him
And He alone can give me rest
And He alone can give me rest
