Pray for the Church
Praise God for His design for motherhood. Pray all of our mothers will embrace their role and responsibility in preparing their children for the lives to which God has called them. Pray for women who desire to have children but have found that to be a struggle to find comfort in God and His plan for them. Pray for mothers whose children have passed away to find peace in God. Pray for women throughout our faith family who are spiritual mothers to so many to continue in making disciples both here and among the nations.
Pray for the City
This week we are praying for Abiding Hearts Home Care, a gospel-centered ministry led by Brook Hills members Randy and Courtney Johnson. Abiding Hearts provides living assistance, home maintenance, and physical, spiritual, and psychological care to the sick, elderly, and widowed, while providing an avenue for life-on-life discipleship. Visit the website to find out how you can obey the call to care for the least of these through their “Adopt the Abandoned” care plan. We are also praying for Household of Faith Church and Pastor Larry Cockrell.
DAY 1: Pray for God to be glorified and His kingdom advanced as Abiding Hearts cares for and shares the love of Jesus with those who are abandoned due to widowhood, sickness, or simply the later years of life.
DAY 2: Praise God for the opportunities that He has given Abiding Hearts to serve so many widowed, sick, and elderly individuals. Pray, through God’s grace, for all of the relationships to remain rooted in the gospel, grow in sincere love, and produce much fruit.
DAY 3: Pray, as the Church gathers each day in homes to worship with the homebound, for the word of God to go forth in power, faith to be born and strengthened, and the clients to testify that God is indeed Defender of the widow, Healer of the sick, and God of all comfort.
DAY 4: Pray God would place it upon the hearts of individuals and churches to financially support Abiding Hearts so that they may continue to care for the widow, sick, and elderly in their time of distress.
DAY 5: Abiding Hearts currently has a waiting list of sick and widowed individuals in need of care. Pray for the Lord to raise up more volunteers to help meet these needs and invest in disciple-making relationships with the clients.
DAY 6: Pray specifically for the Lord to raise up a gifted volunteer to serve Abiding Hearts in the area of grant writing and donor development.
Pray for the World
This week we are praying for Rekindle Children’s Hope, serving in Cameroon. RCH is reaching many orphaned, disadvantaged, and abandoned children in villages throughout Cameroon. Their goal is to serve both the physical and spiritual needs of the children in their ministry through feeding programs, tuition for school, and after school programs connecting them to a local church effort for discipleship. To learn more about RCH, visit rchafrica.org. We are also praying for the Wom, a people group of Cameroon.
DAY 1: RCH currently has more than seventy children in their after-school program. Pray for these children to come to know Christ and have a personal relationship with Him.
DAY 2: Pray for the local volunteers and staff who work with the children at RCH on a daily basis. Pray for God to strengthen their faith as they serve. Pray for God to provide more men to volunteer and mentor the boys at the RCH program.
DAY 3: Pray for George Mbunwe, RCH’s in-country program director. Pray for God to give him wisdom and steadfastness to care for the children God has appointed to him.
DAY 4: Pray for God to change the hearts and lives of the children RCH is serving and those they come in contact with in the community, so that His name may be exalted among them.
DAY 5: Pray for the leadership and board of RCH to have a vision for developing disciples as they care for the children in their program.
DAY 6: Praise God for the work He is doing in Cameroon through RCH and the children who are being cared for through the program. Pray for God to give RCH more opportunities to come alongside the local church and care for those in need.

The Lion and the Lamb
Verse 1
He's coming on the clouds
Kings and kingdoms will bow down
And every chain will break
As broken hearts declare His praise
For who can stop the Lord almighty
Chorus
Our God is the Lion
The Lion of Judah
He's roaring with power
And fighting our battles
And every knee will bow before Him
Our God is the Lamb
The Lamb that was slain
For the sin of the world
His blood breaks the chains
And every knee will bow before the Lion and the Lamb
Oh every knee will bow before the Lion and the Lamb
Verse 2
So open up the gates
Make way before the King of kings
Our God who comes to save
Is here to set the captives free
For who can stop the Lord almighty
Bridge
Who can stop the Lord almighty
Who can stop the Lord (almighty)

The earth is shaking the weary waking
To the God who moves the mountains
You gotta move this mountain
Verse 2
He is not surprised He surrounds
He cannot be stopped He astounds
He is drawing near hear the sound
Oh hear the sound
Bridge
You say speak and we say move
You say watch what You can do
You say trust and then You prove
You're the God who moves the mountains
The God who moves the mountains
Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery
Verse 1
Come behold the wondrous myst'ry
In the dawning of the King
He the theme of heaven's praises
Robed in frail humanity
In our longing in our darkness
Now the light of life has come
Look to Christ who condescended
Took on flesh to ransom us
Verse 2
Come behold the wondrous myst'ry
He the perfect Son of Man
In His living in His suff'ring
Never trace nor stain of sin
See the true and better Adam
Come to save the hell-bound man
Christ the great and sure fulfillment
Of the law in Him we stand
Verse 3
Come behold the wondrous myst'ry
Christ the Lord upon the tree
In the stead of ruined sinners
Hangs the Lamb in victory
See the price of our redemption
See the Father's plan unfold
Bringing many sons to glory
Grace unmeasured love untold
Verse 4
Come behold the wondrous myst'ry
Slain by death the God of life
But no grave could e'er restrain Him
Praise the Lord He is alive
What a foretaste of deliv'rance
How unwavering our hope
Christ in power resurrected
As we will be when He comes
Beneath the Waters (I Will Rise)
Verse 1
This is my revelation
Christ Jesus crucified
Salvation through repentance
At the cross on which He died
Verse 2
Now here my absolution
Forgiveness for my sin
And I sink beneath the waters
That Christ was buried in
Chorus 1
I will rise
I will rise
As Christ was raised to life
Now in Him
Now in Him I live
Verse 3
I stand a new creation
Baptised in blood and fire
No fear of condemnation
By faith I'm justified
Bridge
I rise as You are risen
Declare Your rule and reign
My life confess Your Lordship
And glorify Your Name
Your word it stands eternal
Your kingdom knows no end
Your praise goes on forever
And on and on again
No pow'r can stand against You
No curse assault Your throne
No one can steal Your glory
For it is Yours alone
I stand to sing Your praises
I stand to testify
For I was dead in my sin
Chorus 2
But now I rise
I will rise
As Christ was raised to life
Now in Him
Now in Him I live
Not in Me
No list of sins I have not done
No list of virtues I pursue
No list of those I am not like
Can earn myself a place with you
O God! Be merciful to me
I am a sinner through and through
My only hope of righteousness
Is not in me, but only You
No humble dress, no fervent prayer
No lifted hands, no tearful song
No recitation of the truth
Can justify a single wrong
My righteousness is Jesus' life
My debt was paid by Jesus' death
My weary load was borne by Him
And He alone can give me rest
No separation from the world
No work I do, no gift I give
Can cleanse my conscience, cleanse my hands
I cannot cause my soul to live
But Jesus died and rose again
The power of death is overthrown
My God is merciful to me
And merciful in Christ alone
My righteousness is Jesus' life
My debt was paid by Jesus' death
My weary load was borne by Him
And He alone can give me rest
And He alone can give me rest
