Pray for the Church
Praise God for His saving power He has worked in your life. Pray for all those who have yet to put their faith in Him or who have even yet to hear about Him. Ask God to use you to proclaim His salvation to others around you and to help you be bold in your witness. Pray for God to add to our number those He is saving through our gospel efforts.
Pray for the City
This week we are praying for our Love Oliver ‘Ready Day One’ event on Saturday, July 28, at Oliver Elementary School and Rock the Village this week in Marks Village. These Love Oliver partnerships provide an avenue for Brook Hills members and other community partners to join hands with Oliver Elementary School families in addressing economic, academic, spiritual, and social barriers and to grow in Christ-likeness as we serve and love Oliver together. We are also praying for New Community Baptist Church and Pastor Donnie Chapman.
Day 1: Pray for Kingdom advancement as the gospel is shared and physical needs are met in the Gate City community through Rock the Village and Ready Day One.
Day 2: Pray for Rock the Village to be a fruitful week of evangelism and discipleship within the Marks Village community and for every resident to be touched in some way by the good news of Jesus Christ.
Day 3: Pray for the Oliver students and families who will attend the Back-to-School Ready Day One event on Saturday, July 28. Families attending this event will receive free uniforms in exchange for the points they’ve earned at school. Praise God for His faithfulness in providing the funds necessary for every student to begin the school year prepared!
Day 4: Pray for the families attending the Ready Day One event to receive heart-felt, gospel-motivated hospitality from the moment they walk in the door. Pray for the volunteers to have opportunities to pray with every family and connect them with local churches.
Day 5: Pray for members of our faith family and others in the community who will be investing in disciple-making relationships with Oliver families through one of the many serving opportunities at Oliver this Fall and Spring. Ask God to send more laborers into His harvest.
Day 6: Pray for the Lord to bless the students at Oliver and their families as well as the teachers and staff, and for Him to draw all of them to Himself.
Pray for the World
This week we are praying for three long-term units that are being sent out from our faith family to the nations. By God’s grace He has called out many from our faith family to take the gospel to areas of the world where it is not yet known. It is our great joy to send out those from among us who are giving their lives long-term to this task. Join us as we pray for those we are sending out.

Verse 1
When we were lost ones
You were the Shepherd that carried us home
When we were prodigals
You ran to meet us with open arms
And we can't hold back our praise

When we were refugees
You were the One who took us in
When we were enemies
You paid the price for all our sin
And we can't hold back our praise

This is the sound of adoration
Oh how we love You
Jesus we love You
You are the joy of all creation
Oh we love You
Jesus we love You
Verse 3
You are the Risen One
You conquered death and made a way
You sang our freedom song
Now we are dancing on our chains
And we can't hold back our praise
