Praise God for His grace and mercy and for pursuing us even in our brokenness. Pray for us all to live confident of the redemption we find in Christ. Ask God to grant us strength and perseverance as we strive to obediently follow Him wherever He leads. Pray for God to guard our hearts from comparing ourselves to others.

This week we are praying for Restoration Academy (restorationacademy.org), a K-12 Christian school located in Fairfield, Ala. for over 300 students with a mission to provide an excellent, Christ-centered education to students predominantly from lower-income families. Restoration Academy is committed to meeting individual students at their point of need, providing dynamic instruction and curriculum, competitive sports, and outlets for kids to grow into all that God desires while breaking generational cycles of poverty, violence, addiction, and fatherlessness. We are also praying for Covenant Community Fellowship, Fairfield, and Pastor Frank Woodson.

DAY 1: Pray for the administration, teachers, and volunteers at Restoration Academy who daily pour into the students under their care. Pray for them to walk in faithful obedience to God’s will and to be encouraged and strengthened by His Spirit.

DAY 2: Pray for opportunities for the gospel to be proclaimed to the students who do not yet know Christ. It is the school’s goal for, upon graduation, each student to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to be committed to following Him.

DAY 3: Pray for the weekly tutors who invest in the students as well as the volunteers who serve as teachers’ aides, classroom sponsors, and “Room Moms.” Pray for God to raise up additional tutors, mentors, and financial sponsors for this school.

DAY 4: Pray for the students who have already put their faith in Christ to be salt and light in their community, school, and family. Pray they will be able to discern the will of God and will have the courage to be set apart from the rest of the world.

DAY 5: Pray for the families of the students, many of which are facing financial and family difficulties. Pray, through Christ, their relationship with God and with others would be reconciled and their basic needs would be met.

DAY 6: Pray for the City of Fairfield where Restoration Academy is located. Pray for Fairfield to be revitalized by God’s restoration and peace.

This week we are praying for Brook Hills Mid-Termers Royce and Sandra W. serving in Southeast Asia. Royce and Sandra are part of a team of professionals, students, and retirees from Brook Hills who are intentionally living in a city where unreached people groups from all over the world live and work. Royce and Sandra are a key part of the work there as they host teams and engage men and women in their community with the gospel. Join us as we pray for Royce and Sandra. 

DAY 1: God has blessed Royce and Sandra with a home where they can host people and teams that are coming to serve in their city. Praise God for Royce and Sandra’s hospitality and the way He uses their home to advance His kingdom.

DAY 2: Royce leads a Bible study for men in his home each week. Pray for this group of men to grow in their faith and for God to use them to advance the gospel throughout the city. 

DAY 3: Sandra serves at a refugee center helping students with placement testing and development. She has many opportunities to pray for her students and share the gospel. Pray for God to use Sandra to open the hearts of her students to Christ. 

DAY 4: Royce and Sandra still have a house in Birmingham they would like to sell. Pray for their house to sell soon. 

DAY 5: Royce and Sandra are part of a local church in their city made up of believers from all over the world. Next month they will begin a teaching series on evangelism. Pray for God to open the eyes of their faith family members to their role in the Great Commission and for obedience to engage the lost that live all around them. 

DAY 6: Royce and Sandra are currently in Birmingham. Pray for this time at home to be restful and encouraging as they get to share with others and prepare to return to Southeast Asia.
