Pray for the Church
Praise God for the forgiveness and redemption we can all find in Him. Ask the Holy Spirit to convict us of any sin in our lives. Pray for conviction to lead us to our faithful Heavenly Father and the hope He provides to us. Thank God for hearing and answering our prayers.
Pray for the City
This week we are praying for Christian Marriages in Crisis (christianmarriagesincrisis.com), a ministry led by Brook Hills members, Paul and Suzi Talley. CMIC works to bring healing, restoration, and healthy communication to Christian couples in crisis through couple-to-couple counseling, a community of encouragers, and workshops for wives, husbands, and couples. We are also praying for Westwood Baptist Church, Alabaster, and Pastor Kenneth Bruce.
Day 1: Pray for Paul and Suzi’s own marriage and family. Pray that they would exemplify Christ-like service, endurance, and grace to each other and to the hurting couples that they are ministering to.
Day 2: Pray that the couples seeking counsel would come to see the truth about God, about others, and about themselves. Pray that God would clearly communicate His will through His word for the variety of life issues and circumstances that these couples face.
Day 3: Pray for financial provision and stability for CMIC. CMIC does not charge for the services they provide. Pray that monthly givers would come forward to support this ministry.
Day 4: Pray as CMIC seeks out new board members to oversee the ministry and for the current ones who have served for many years. Pray that God would bring forth godly men and women with a passion for marriage reconciliation to serve as board members.
Day 5: The fields are white and ready for harvest but the laborers are few. Please pray for God to rise up individuals to be trained to partner with CMIC in ministering to couples in crisis.
Day 6: Please pray for spiritual protection as Paul, Suzi, and others serve on the front lines of ministry, engaging with the enemy of marriage on a daily basis. Pray that they would be open and vulnerable and would have strong accountability and support from those around them.
Pray for the World
This week we are praying for our field partner N.H., serving in Vietnam among tribal people groups. N.H. and his team are engaging unreached people groups with the gospel, training up new pastors and church leaders, and equipping the small body of believers as they share the gospel and serve their communities. Join us as we pray for N.H. and the team in Vietnam. To learn more about how to pray for Vietnam visit prayforvietnam.org.
Day 1: There are at least 90 million people in Vietnam and at least 74 distinct people groups, most of which are unreached with the gospel. Pray for a movement of God among the people of Vietnam.
Day 2: Praise God for the open doors He has given to N.H. and his team. Pray for God to sustain N.H. and his team as they work diligently to share the gospel and make disciples in a hostile environment.
Day 3: Persecution is a reality for all believers. Pray for our brothers and sisters in a northern province who have just had their church burned down and the pastor’s home destroyed. Pray for our brothers and sisters to count it pure joy for the suffering they experience and for the church to spread as a result of this persecution.
Day 4: On a regular basis, pastors and church leaders gather with N.H. for encouragement, accountability, and updates. The Church at Brook Hills has been a partner that helps those training times take place. Pray for the next gathering of leaders and for God to give wisdom to N.H. as he leads.
Day 5: Pray for N.H. and his family. Pray for God to bless his marriage and to bless his children as they all work together for the sake of the gospel going forward in Vietnam.
Day 6: Praise God for the growth of the church in Vietnam despite persecution. Pray for believers to be bold to continue to share the gospel and for the church to continue to grow as new believers are daily added in.

The Lion and the Lamb
Verse 1
He's coming on the clouds
Kings and kingdoms will bow down
And every chain will break
As broken hearts declare His praise
For who can stop the Lord almighty
Chorus
Our God is the Lion
The Lion of Judah
He's roaring with power
And fighting our battles
And every knee will bow before Him
Our God is the Lamb
The Lamb that was slain
For the sin of the world
His blood breaks the chains
And every knee will bow before the Lion and the Lamb
Oh every knee will bow before the Lion and the Lamb
Verse 2
So open up the gates
Make way before the King of kings
Our God who comes to save
Is here to set the captives free
For who can stop the Lord almighty
Bridge
Who can stop the Lord almighty
Who can stop the Lord (almighty)
Worthy of Your Name
Worthy Of Your Name
Verse 1
Rumors of the Son of Man
Stories of a Savior
Holiness with human hands
Treasure for the traitor
No ear has heard no eye has seen
The image of the Father
Until heaven came to live with me
A rescue like no other
Chorus 1
(Yes) You are worthy
You are worthy of Your name
You are worthy yes You are
You are worthy of Your name Jesus
Verse 2
You did not speak You made no sound
You died for Your accusers
And as Your blood fell to the ground
You redefined my future
Yeah on the day that You arose
The darkness ran for cover
For the King of kings has claimed His throne
Now until forever
Bridge
You're my author my maker my ransom my Savior
My refuge my hiding place
You're my helper my healer my blessed Redeemer
My answer my saving grace
You're my hope in the shadows
My strength in the battle
My anchor for all my days
And You stand by my side and You stood in my place
Jesus no other name
Only Jesus no other name
Chorus 2
You are worthy
You are worthy of Your name
You are worthy yeah
You are worthy of Your name
You are worthy
You are worthy of Your name
You are worthy yes You are
You are worthy of Your name Jesus
O Praise the Name
Verse 1
I cast my mind to Calvary
Where Jesus bled and died for me
I see His wounds His hands His feet
My Savior on that cursed tree
Verse 2
His body bound and drenched in tears
They laid Him down in Joseph's tomb
The entrance sealed by heavy stone
Messiah still and all alone
Chorus
O praise the Name of the Lord our God
O praise His Name forevermore
For endless days we will sing Your praise
O Lord O Lord our God
Verse 3
Then on the third at break of dawn
The Son of heaven rose again
O trampled death where is your sting
The angels roar for Christ the King
Verse 4
He shall return in robes of white
The blazing sun shall pierce the night
And I will rise among the saints
My gaze transfixed on Jesus' face
Not in Me
No list of sins I have not done
No list of virtues I pursue
No list of those I am not like
Can earn myself a place with you
O God! Be merciful to me
I am a sinner through and through
My only hope of righteousness
Is not in me, but only You
No humble dress, no fervent prayer
No lifted hands, no tearful song
No recitation of the truth
Can justify a single wrong
My righteousness is Jesus' life
My debt was paid by Jesus' death
My weary load was borne by Him
And He alone can give me rest
No separation from the world
No work I do, no gift I give
Can cleanse my conscience, cleanse my hands
I cannot cause my soul to live
But Jesus died and rose again
The power of death is overthrown
My God is merciful to me
And merciful in Christ alone
My righteousness is Jesus' life
My debt was paid by Jesus' death
My weary load was borne by Him
And He alone can give me rest
And He alone can give me rest
