Opening Session Brunch
Wednesday, August 28
10am-noon, Student Center

Join us Wednesday, August 28, for a brunch with other ladies attending our Mom Time and Community Groups this fall.

We will enjoy good food, connect with friends in our groups, and hear an encouraging word on the topic of 'Sacred Sisterhood' from two Brook Hills women.
We will be reminded of why we come together as women to study the Bible, support each other in prayer and friendship, and serve others
together.
This Sacred Sisterhood is one that is given to us as believing women, not to be kept to ourselves, but to grow in the Word, share the Word and serve others.

MEET THE LEADERS

Shawn Grubb
Rob and I have been married for 32 years. We have three precious daughters, three wonderful sons-in-law, four grandsons, and one granddaughter. It is one of my deepest joys to come alongside young women, as they are in the midst of some of the hardest seasons of their lives.

Cathy Joiner
I have been married to Mike Joiner for over 42 years. We have one daughter, and she and her husband have one son. They are also foster parents and have one foster son in their home right now. We have been members of Brook Hills for 22 years, and I have led Mom Time groups for five years.

Angelia Stewart
My name is Angelia Stewart.  Me, my husband, Rich, and our children have been a part of Brook Hills for over 24 years! I became a Christ follower at a young age and I really began to grow in my faith after I got married and had children. My husband and I have led a small group and I have led women’s studies in the past.

Karen Thompson
My name is Karen Thompson. My husband is Alan and we have six grown children plus three grandchildren.  We have been a part of Brook Hills for over 22 years. I have served in areas related to children, youth, adoption, and special needs, but this is my first time leading adults.
