At Brook Hills, we celebrate the adoption or birth of a child by commissioning the parents as the believers who will be the primary disciple-makers in their child's life.
We intentionally use the word "commission" to represent the partnership between our Brook Hills faith family and you, as a parent. You are being commissioned to take the good news of the gospel to your child. We want to recognize and affirm that you are being called on a mission with a short-term, but eternal impact.
Parent Commissioning celebrates the reality that we are not called to parent (or make disciples) alone. As your faith family, we want to partner with you, encourage you, and walk in accountability with you as you disciple your child.
The 2024 Parent Commissioning has concluded. Please subscribe to our Preschool Ministry Newsletter for updates regarding the 2025 Parent Commissioning.
