Rol Ministerial y Responsabilidades (en Español): Mi rol principal en Brook Hills es liderar la Congregación Hispana. Mi responsabilidad principal es predicar la Palabra de Dios de manera responsable, aplicando las verdades bíblicas a cada necesidad que envuelve al pueblo hispano. También es mi misión transmitir a la congregación la visión que como iglesia tenemos, la cual es llevar el evangelio desde nuestra ciudad hasta lo ultimo de la tierra.  

Mi pasión es compartir el evangelio. Me encanta ver a otras personas disfrutar de la misma gracia que Dios ha derramado en mi vida, y me encanta ayudar a otros a crecer y a conocer mas a Dios.

Acerca de mi: Estoy casado con Kayla Gabbard-Aguilar desde el 2016. Nos conocimos en el Seminario Bíblico en Texas mientras ella estudiaba español y yo estudiaba la Biblia. Nuestro tiempo juntos ha sido espectacular. Nos mudamos a Birmingham, ciudad que amamos y disfrutamos mucho, en Octubre del 2016. Disfrutamos ir a los parques, visitar tiendas, ir a nuevos restaurantes, pasar tiempo con amigos y familia de la fe, y por supuesto, no podría dejar de mencionar que me encanta jugar al soccer.

Facto Interesante: Desde que llegue a Estados Unidos mi gusto por la comida ha ido cambiando con el tiempo, pase de odiar los pickles (pepinillos) a disfrutar de ellos. También, ahora puedo comer aceitunas (olives), cosa que antes era totalmente repudiable para mí.
 

Ministry Role and Responsibility (in English): My main role at Brook Hills is to lead the Hispanic Congregation. My main responsibility is to preach the Word of God in a responsible manner, applying the biblical truths to every need that surrounds the Hispanic people. It is also my mission to transmit to the congregation the vision that we have as a church, which is to take the gospel from our city to the ends of the earth.

My passion is to share the gospel. I love seeing other people enjoy the same grace that God has poured into my life, and I love helping others to grow and to know God more.

About Me: I have been married to Kayla Gabbard-Aguilar since 2016. We met at a Bible Seminary in Texas while she was studying Spanish and I was studying the Bible. Our time together has been spectacular. We moved to Birmingham, a city that we love and enjoy very much, in October 2016. We enjoy going to the parks, visiting stores, going to new restaurants, spending time with friends and family of faith, and of course, I cannot help but mention that I love playing soccer.

Interesting Fact: Since arriving in the United States my taste for food has been changing over time, from hating pickles to enjoying them. Also, now I can eat olives, something that was totally repugnant to me before.
