Praise God for His gospel He made known to us that we have come to believe and proclaim. Pray for God to increase our boldness in sharing the gospel. Ask Him to grant us opportunities and to prepare others around us and around the world to hear and respond to the gospel when we share. Pray for our church to be known for our devotion to Christ's mission.

This week we are praying for faithful and fruitful evangelism and disciple-making throughout our city, especially through the efforts of Birmingham Gospel Outreach. BGO is a local ministry dedicated to church mobilization, disciple multiplication, and gospel saturation in the Birmingham Metro Area. We’re also praying this week for Antioch Community Church and Pastor Kevin Naylor.

Day 1: Pray for all believers—here at Brook Hills and at other solid, Bible teaching churches— to delight in sharing Jesus with the lost around them, at work, with their families, and with strangers. May we all be faithful followers of Jesus who are willing to sacrifice our time, comfort, and resources for the advancement of the gospel and the glory of God. 

Day 2: Pray for Birmingham to be filled with healthy, reproducing churches and fruit-bearing disciples. 

Day 3: Pray for God to raise up more laborers that will work to see entire neighborhoods, social segments, and people groups within our city reached with the gospel. 

Day 4: Pray for those who have heard the gospel through the evangelistic efforts of BGO. Pray for these gospel seeds to bear fruit. Pray for those who have responded to walk in obedience to the Holy Spirit and grow in their love for God and others through fellowship with a local church. 

Day 5: Pray for believers to stand firm in their faith and not grow weary in doing good as they engage with the lost and seek to make Christ’s name known in Birmingham. Pray for them to be eager to share the hope of the gospel and be spirit-led in discernment and boldness.

Day 6: Pray for more Gospel Conversations Trainings to happen across our city and state. Pray for participants to be equipped, encouraged, and challenged in their faith and in personal evangelism. Pray for fruitful conversations as participants go out into the harvest.

Next week begins our month-long celebration of all God has accomplished through the Global Offering. The Global Offering is an opportunity for us as a church to give above our regular tithes so we can wholeheartedly engage the nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Global Offering allows us to send and sustain Brook Hills teams and missionaries, as well as participate with partners working among peoples and places around the world without access to the gospel. We hope that you as an individual or a family will prayerfully consider how God may be inviting you to bless the nations this year. Day 1: Thank God for the way He has used our faith family this year to participate in the advancement of the gospel to all nations. Thank Him for blessing us to be a blessing to those who have never heard of Christ.
  
Day 2: Praise God for mobilizing so many of our members to be on mission. Praise God for the opportunities to share the gospel with people who have never heard. Praise God for saving many who heard of Christ.

Day 3: There are still billions of people in the world that have little to no access to the gospel. Pray for our church to find joy in giving to the Global Offering so we can continue to participate in the urgency of this eternal need.     

Day 4: This year the Global Offering was used to support and sustain 23 Long-Term missionaries who are currently on the field. Pray for our missionaries as they work in difficult places. Pray for God to send more members from our faith family this next year. 

Day 5: Ask God to show you areas in your life that He wants to use to participate in the Global Offering this year.  

Day 6: Ask the Lord to bless the Global Offering. Pray that our faith family would give with glad hearts, and for the Lord to be pleased as we glorify and honor Him through our giving.
