Praise God for His gift of eternal life. Pray for God to grow our faith and trust in His Son, Jesus Christ. Ask Him to grant us strength to resist the temptations of this world. Pray we would all live for Him and the glory of His name among all peoples.

This week we are praying for Red Mountain Grace, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing gracious low-cost housing to out-of-town patients and caregivers during their extended medical stays in Birmingham. Red Mountain Grace was co-founded by Brook Hills member, Jason Carroll. We’re also praying for Iron City Church and Pastor Kam Pugh.

Day 1: Pray for the twenty families that are currently being housed through Red Mountain Grace to find comfort and peace through Jesus Christ as they walk through the valley of medical trials and sometimes death.  

Day 2: Pray for the gospel to be made known and for lives to be changed through the work and words of staff and volunteers at Red Mountain Grace. 

Day 3: Pray for God to provide more apartments and sponsors in Birmingham so that more patients and their families can see the gospel at work.

Day 4: Pray for wisdom and guidance for the Red Mountain Grace staff during a time of transition for the organization. Pray for God to provide the right person to fill the leading position as Executive Director. 

Day 5: Pray for God to strengthen and guide the staff and volunteers, and to equip them with what they need to serve the sick and their families well. 

Day 6: Pray for God to lead, strengthen, and encourage those serving on the front lines of Red Mountain Grace.

This week we are praying for Taylor and Julia J. serving long-term in Southeast Asia. Taylor and Julia live in a strategic city where many least reached people groups from all over the world live and work. God has given them unique opportunities through their family to not only build relationships and share the gospel with friends that He has brought into their lives, but also to engage in strengthening local believers from least reached people groups to grow in Jesus and in their boldness to share Him with others. Join us this week as we pray for Taylor and Julia and that God would expand His kingdom and establish His church among least reached people groups in their city.

Day 1: Taylor and Julia are currently stateside for a few weeks to visit partners and spend time with their family. Pray for their time in the states to be joy filled and restful as they spend time with love ones and partners.

Day 2: Julia has just started a program to be equipped to resource the visually impaired and blind in our world. This means many hours studying, writing, and getting experience from professionals in her field of study. Pray for God to give Julia the capacity to serve her family well and dedicate time to this opportunity He has provided.

Day 3: Pray for Taylor and Julia to have opportunities to disciple and train other local believers in the church on how to share the gospel with others.

Day 4: This season for Taylor and Julia is very busy and it seems as though every minute is filled. Pray for times of rest and for dependence upon the Lord when they are prone to depend on themselves.

Day 5: Taylor has a unique opportunity to resource and equip believers who are being sent out as marketplace professionals to areas of the world in need of access to the gospel. Pray for his team as they strengthen new generations of workers and for the gospel to spread through their team.

Day 6: Pray for God to be glorified in and through their family so that many might come to know Christ.
