Brook Hills Kids’ weekly activities are alive, fun, Bible-focused and Christ-centered gatherings in a welcoming and safe environment. Come check us out this week. You and your children will be glad you did.

Sundays

Two Kids' Sunday morning gatherings begin at 9:00 am and 10:35 am, coordinating with the worship times. Early elementary (1st-3rd grade) and preteen (4th-5th grade) children meet separately and in their own spaces.

Small groups are an essential component of the Sunday morning experience. These are grade-specific groups where children connect with the same friends and same Faith Trainers (a.k.a. teachers) at the same hour.

Here’s what a “typical” Sunday morning looks like:

Check-In and Drop-Off - Accompany your children to one of the check-in stations and drop them off at their rooms.

Small Group (pre-session) - Faith Trainers and children engage in activities and discussions introducing the morning Bible lesson.

Large Group - All children and Faith Trainers gather in the main room for lively song and praise, Bible memory celebration, sharing life events, prayer, and a Bible lesson.

Small Group - Faith Trainers and children return to their rooms to unpack the Bible lesson in a more personal age-specific context. This period also includes prayer, relationship-building experiences, and more.

Pick-Up - Children and Faith Trainers wait in their rooms for parents to arrive. Faith Trainers release children to parents who present a “Pick-up” tag matching their child’s nametag.

Wednesdays

Brook Hills Kids’ Wednesday evenings feature our very own Ignite! It all happens mid-August through mid-May, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

The big idea of this mid-week ministry is to ignite children’s passion for Jesus, His gospel, and His great mission. Boys and girls come with their Bibles and their fastest running shoes. Bibles are for engaging learning experiences. The running shoes are for the heart-pumping room-shaking game times.

Here’s what a “typical” night at Ignite! is like:

Check-In and Drop-Off - Accompany your children to one of the check-in stations and drop them off at their small group room.

Small Group (pre-session) - Faith Trainers and children engage in activities and discussions introducing the evening lesson.

Large Group - All children and Faith Trainers gather in the main room for lively song and praise, Bible memory celebration, prayer, and Bible lesson and mission focus.

Small Group & Game Rotation - Faith Trainers and children return to their rooms to expand on the lesson in a personal age-specific context. This period is followed by a full-tilt game time and a small snack.

Pick-Up - Children and Faith Trainers wait in their rooms for parents to arrive. Faith Trainers release children to parents who present a “Pick-up” tag matching their child’s nametag.

Daily at Home

What happens daily at home can impact a child’s faith much more than during our Sunday and Wednesday gatherings at Brook Hills Kids. That said, what happens at Brook Hills Kids is critically important, too. But we recognize that God’s primary time and place for shaping children’s faith is every day at home. That’s what God communicates to parents in this passage:

". . . these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise" (Deuteronomy 6:6, 7).

Since we recognize parents’ primary role in this privileged yet enormous task, Brook Hills Kids is committed to supporting, equipping, and encouraging you along the way. One way we do this is by preparing excellent weekly experiences for your children and keeping you informed and integrated into what’s happening.
