As you consider leading an Adult Small Group, the Best Path will help you consider qualifications and expectations. Once you are ready to proceed, the Leader Application below is the next step.

Small Group Basics is a required one-session orientation that you may attend at any point. Attending may help you decide if leading a group is right for you.

Leading a group is a great challenge, yet very rewarding. It is a sacrifice of time and energy, but definitely worth it to see lives changed, friendships built, and spiritual encouragement shared.

Throughout our entire adult life, Betty and I have been blessed to be a part of faith families that provided solid biblically based mentors who shepherded us through the early years of both marriage and parenting. These mentors practiced and taught us the answers to our daily situations would be found in God’s Word. These Saints laid the ground work that we have been called to carry on. Our mobile society of today is much like our early military experiences where young families do not have a Biblical foundation or access to Biblically based-mentoring. Our small group’s goal is to be an immediate family, do life together, always encouraging, praying, admonishing and supporting each other.

Psalms 71:17-18

God, you have taught me from my youth, and I still proclaim your wondrous works.  Even while I am old and gray, God, do not abandon me, while I proclaim your power to another generation.

Becoming a Small Group leader is an intentional process to protect and care for our church. We desire to establish relationships and equip new leaders through this process in order to create a firm foundation for each group.
