Pray for the Church
Praise God for the grace and forgiveness we receive through His son, Jesus. Pray for Him to help us develop the ability to respond to being sinned against in a way that is a true reflection of our appreciation of that grace. Pray for Him to help us be a people who make a habit of pursuing reconciliation.
Pray for the City
This week we are praying for our Love Oliver partner, Oak Tree Ministries (OTM). OTM labors alongside the families of the Marks Village Housing Community to fulfill God’s promise to raise up for Himself “oak trees of righteousness” for the display of His splendor. OTM seeks to pave the way for children, teens, and adults in Marks Village to be reconciled to God and to others through Bible Club, Reading Club, Teen Hang Time, Women’s Bible Study, etc.
DAY 1: Pray that OTM would build deeper trusting relationships with children and their families over the summer, especially as they spend extended intentional time through their summer programs such as Rock the Village, Kinder Kamp, Teen Hang Time, Reading Club Camp, Nurture Groups, and Yoga.
DAY 2: Pray for the staff and volunteers at OTM to model what it looks like to grow in Christ-likeness, wisdom, obedience, humility, perseverance, and unity.
DAY 3: Pray for the weekly Reading Club at OTM. Pray especially for the graduating 5th graders and the new children who will be joining in their place. Pray for more committed volunteers to join the team to serve the students who are waiting for a reading buddy.
DAY 4: Pray for the women who live in Marks Village. Pray for them to stand strong when surrounded by adversity, depend on God to provide for their families, and resist temptation.
DAY 5: Pray for God to save teenagers in Marks Village and develop them into godly leaders within their schools and community. Pray they would learn to fight against violence with the love of Christ.
DAY 6: Pray for the men living in Marks Village. Ask God to raise up a man of peace who will recognize and walk in his identity as an ambassador for Christ and boldly proclaim the gospel in his community!
Pray for the World
This week we are praying for our Brook Hills Mid-Termers who are being sent out this summer to serve in nine different countries around the world. Mid-Term is one of the ways we as a church mobilize our faith family to make disciples of all nations. Mid-Term allows the opportunity for our members to serve in other contexts for two months up to two years. This summer we have the privilege to send out 14 of our members to share the gospel in mostly unreached areas of the world. Join us as we pray for our 2018 summer mid-termers. We are also praying for our short-term teams serving in the Middle East.
DAY 1: Pray for God to equip Ethan S., Jacob P., and Josh P. with everything they need to be effective in their gospel witness and work.
DAY 2: Pray for John Mark C., Carly C., and Maggie F. to be useful to God for the advancement of the gospel in the lives of men and women they meet.
DAY 3: Pray for unity among team members as Katelyn B. and Caitlyn B. join our Central Asia Church Planting team together.
DAY 4: Pray for God to give many opportunities to Macy M. and Lydia G. to boldly share the gospel with the people they meet this summer.
DAY 5: Pray for Jacob and Morgan L. as they move their family to Southeast Asia. Pray for God to prepare the hearts of those they will share the gospel with. Also pray for God to use this mid-term opportunity to clarify His calling for their family.
DAY 6: Pray for Bella M. and Lindsey A. as they engage college students this summer. Pray for open hearts and deep gospel relationships to form during their time.

Held in chains by the enemy

Promise maker promise keeper
You finish what You begin
Our provision through the desert

Never changing through the ages
From this darkness You will lead us
And forever we will say
You're the Lord our God

Still we can know You are good
All Your plans are for Your glory

You're the light of all and all that we need
(REPEAT)
Only a Holy God
Verse 1
Who else commands all the hosts of heaven
Who else could make every king bow down
Who else can whisper and darkness trembles
Only a Holy God
Verse 2
What other beauty demands such praises
What other splendour outshines the sun
What other majesty rules with justice
Only a Holy God
Chorus
Come and behold Him
The One and the Only
Cry out sing holy
Forever a Holy God
Come and worship the Holy God
Verse 3
What other glory consumes like fire
What other power can raise the dead
What other name remains undefeated
Only a Holy God
Verse 4
Who else could rescue me from my failing
Who else would offer His only Son
Who else invites me to call Him Father
Only a Holy God
Only my Holy God
All I Have is Christ
Verse 1
I once was lost in darkest night
Yet thought I knew the way
The sin that promised joy and life
Had led me to the grave
I had no hope that You would own
A rebel to Your will
And if You had not loved me first
I would refuse You still
Verse 2
But as I ran my hell-bound race
Indifferent to the cost
You looked upon my helpless state
And led me to the cross
And I beheld God's love displayed
You suffered in my place
You bore the wrath reserved for me
Now all I know is grace
Chorus
Hallelujah all I have is Christ
Hallelujah Jesus is my life
Verse 3
Now Lord I would be Yours alone
And live so all might see
The strength to follow Your commands
Could never come from me
O Father use my ransomed life
In any way You choose
And let my song forever be
My only boast is You
