Praise God for His perfect provision, abundance of blessings, and extravagant grace. Ask God to develop within us a spirit of thankfulness towards Him, our ultimate provider. Pray for Him to cultivate within us an overflowing generosity that is a visible testament to the outpouring of His love for us. Ask God to diminish our desire for, and dependence on, earthly riches in favor of that which can never be lost. Pray for Him to make us a people always ready to do good and willing to share the blessings we have received.

This week we are praying for Grace Klein Community, a local organization started by Brook Hills members, Jason and Jenny Waltman. They seek to demonstrate the love of Christ and create authentic community by uniting diverse individuals, businesses, ministries, and churches to work together to share their resources to meet physical and spiritual needs both locally and globally. We are also praying for Valleydale Church and Pastor Jason Dees.

DAY 1: Grace Klein Community provides people with a forum for sharing what they have so that everyone has what they need. Pray for every member of Grace Klein Community and others in the Body of Christ to give generously with hearts of joy to serve others in their time of need.

DAY 2: Grace Klein Community seeks to share Christ’s love through actions and words. Pray for God to open doors for gospel conversations with those who receive resource help and do not yet know Christ.

DAY 3: Grace Klein Community seeks to share life together by caring for one another’s spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial needs. Pray that they will be doers of the Word, walking alongside the broken in times of need.

DAY 4: Grace Klein Community values the different gifts and abilities of the Body of Christ. Pray for each member of the Body of Christ to consider their strengths and contribute to the whole, remembering that each belongs to the others.

DAY 5: Grace Klein Community shares food, clothing, appliances, furniture, and other resources with those in need in the city. Pray for every demonstration of the love of Christ to bear fruit for the Glory of Christ in Birmingham.

DAY 6: Grace Klein Community exists for the fame of Jesus. Pray that they will live as aliens and strangers of this world, not as unwise, but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, as they trust God to use them as letters of Christ, known and read by everyone.

This week we are praying for our Brook Hills field partners Greg and Beth B. serving in North Africa. We are excited to send our Short-Term team to serve with them this week. Greg and Beth host Brook Hills medical teams and help facilitate partnership between local churches that host clinics. Join us this week as we pray for our partners and for the work that God will accomplish this week through our Short-Term teams as they serve together.

DAY 1: Greg and Beth just received word that one of their teammates has been denied a visa for re-entry into the country. This affects their team on multiple levels. Please pray for God to make Greg steadfast as he will be carrying additional responsibilities as well as grieving the loss of this teammate.

DAY 2: Pray for the Brook Hills medical team who will be serving with Greg and Beth this week. Pray for God to use our team to encourage Greg and Beth as well as the local believers with whom they will be serving.

DAY 3: Greg and Beth have a small business in country. Pray for God to give Greg wisdom as he develops his employees into leaders. Pray for their business to be successful as they serve the community.

DAY 4: Pray for Greg as he seeks out new locations to host medical clinics. Pray for God to provide local churches who are willing to partner and open their doors to this type of partnership.

DAY 5: Pray for God to open the hearts and minds of the Muslim patients who will come into the medical clinics. Pray for many to believe.

DAY 6: Pray for the local church Greg and Beth partner with. Pray for God to strengthen local believers and for the church to multiply.
