Praise God for the time we have each year to reflect upon Him fulfilling His promise to send the Redeemer, His Son, Jesus Christ. Ask Him to use us to share His good news with all those still lost in their sins. Pray for many to repent and put their faith in Jesus during this holiday season.

This week we are praying for the Shelby County East Camp of the Gideons International, an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus by sharing their personal testimony and distributing Bibles and New Testaments in hotels, schools, hospitals, and other strategic locations. Gideons currently minister in 200 countries and territories around the world. We are also praying for Redeemer Community Church and Pastor Joel Brooks.

DAY 1: Pray for continued growth in the local Shelby County Gideons camp. Pray for more people to join Brook Hills members (Thomas Olsen- ) distributing God’s Word in Shelby County.

DAY 2: Pray for the leadership of the Gideons camp. Pray for wisdom and guidance as they meet twice weekly for prayer (praying for local churches, pastors, and Gideons around the state, nation, and world) and monthly for planning and training. Pray for new leaders to continue to be developed and discipled within the camp.

DAY 3: Pray for Gideon’s Faith Fund Rallies. The Gideons have four Faith Fund Rallies each year to raise money to provide for the Bibles they distribute. These are donations given by Gideons to support countries that cannot afford to pay for the Bibles themselves. Pray for abundant giving at each of the rallies this year.

DAY 4: Pray for the 250,000+ men and women of the Gideons International in 200+ countries, territories, and possessions around the world as they distribute and place God’s Word and share God’s love while witnessing to millions of people each year.

DAY 5: Pray for Gideon’s church presentations. Since Covid, more churches have been open for Gideon reports. Pray for more of these opportunities to share about the ministry of the Gideons. Pray for wisdom and clarity as each presenter speaks to the churches.

DAY 6: Pray for the Shelby East Camp of Gideons. Pray for them to be men and women of the Word. Pray for them to share their faith in Jesus boldly while distributing God’s Word. Pray for them to walk daily with the King.

This week, we are praying for our partnership with SPEAR International. This year, through the Global Offering, we were able to invest in the work God is doing in Vietnam through tribal evangelism training efforts and a local seminary.

DAY 1: Pray for the professors and administrators of the Bible college in North Vietnam. Pray they would continue to have favor in the eyes of the government to teach sound theology and doctrine.

DAY 2: Pray the professors would teach under the authority of Scripture with clarity and boldness.

DAY 3: Pray for the students attending the Bible college. Pray for them to grow and be strengthened in their faith and for their character tol mature through this time of study.

DAY 4: Pray for the people with whom these students will come into contact after their graduation. Pray for many to hear the gospel proclaimed boldly and clearly after their time studying.

DAY 5: Pray for the students who will go to the remote villages to share the gospel. Pray for softened hearts towards the news of the gospel.

DAY 6: Pray for those who have yet to hear the good news of Jesus in the tribal villages of Vietnam. Pray for more workers to go to these places, and for the Lord to be softening their hearts to receive the gospel.
