Praise God for the His Kingdom advancement throughout the world, even in the midst of hardship and persecution. Pray for ourselves as well as other brothers and sisters to be bold in their proclamation of the gospel despite what it may cost us. Thank God for His ongoing presence with us and guidance of our lives. Pray for each of us to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Pray we will look for ministry opportunities wherever we are and will make the most of any opportunity with which we are presented. Praise God for His sovereignty over all things.

This week we are praying for Alabama Baptist Children’s Home, an orphan care ministry dedicated to protecting, nurturing, and restoring children and families through Christ-centered services. Brook Hills partners with them in our foster care ministry and for family counseling support. We are also praying for Gardendale First Baptist Church and Pastor Kevin Hamm.

DAY 1: Pray for the families who have recently completed the foster care GPS classes and who are patiently preparing to open their homes to children.

DAY 2: Pray for volunteers to come alongside ABCH to serve the children and families under their care.

DAY 3: Pray for the house parents living in the campus care homes and emergency shelter homes to have strength as they minister to the difficulties and trauma faced by children in care.

DAY 4: Pray for the construction and funding of the new Family Care home in Mobile, which is greatly needed and highly anticipated in the area.

DAY 5: Pray for wisdom for the leadership team as they face a season of transition and great opportunity. Pray that they have clear vision and tenacious focus on the needs of children and families, while remaining centered on Christ.

DAY 6: Pray for wisdom and clarity for the counselors of Pathways Professional Counseling, and for empathy for their clients and opportunities to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Also pray for the counselors to be able to serve as loving spouses/parents in their own homes.

This week we are praying for Brook Hills Member Organization leader Dan Moran at Dan Moran Ministries. Join us this week as we pray for Dan and others in the organization working for the spread of the gospel both here locally in Birmingham and around the world. This week we are praying for our Short-Term teams serving in Nepal, Central Asia, the Middle East, and New York City.

DAY 1: Pray for God to give Dan the wisdom and strength to lead his ministry well into the future. Pray for Dan to discern what the Lord has laid before him to continue to make the gospel known to people who have never heard.

DAY 2: Dan is currently serving as an interim/transitional pastor at a church in Fairburn, Georgia. Praise God that the Lord has allowed Dan to lead this congregation for this transition period. Pray for God to call out a permanent pastor to lead the church.

DAY 3: Dan and his team focus internationally on strengthening the local church primarily in Honduras, Indonesia, and Europe. Pray for the Short-Term trips that Dan is leading this summer to these areas of the world to be fruitful.

DAY 4: Pray for the churches that will be serving with Dan this summer. Pray for God to encourage local churches in Honduras and Indonesia as they receive brothers and sisters from other parts of the world to serve alongside them.

DAY 5: Pray for Dan and his family as they celebrate the marriage of his son this fall. Pray for God to be honored as their family continues to work together in this ministry that He has graciously given them.

DAY 6: Dan Moran Ministries helps provide chaplain services to corporations in the Birmingham area. Pray for God to provide opportunities to spiritually strengthen companies in our area and to open doors for the gospel to go forward in the workplace.
