Praise God for His faithfulness toward us and presence with us. Pray for Him to help us guard against pride and ask Him to develop humility within each of us. Pray for wisdom in how to live within our freedom while freely submitting to Christ in obedience.

This week we are praying for Abiding Hearts Home Care, a gospel-centered ministry led by Brook Hills members, Randy and Courtney Johnson. Abiding Hearts Home Care provides living assistance, home maintenance, and physical, spiritual, and psychological care to the sick, elderly, and widowed. It also provides an avenue for life-on-life discipleship to those in need in our city. We are also praying for the Household of Faith Church and Pastor Larry Cockrell.

Day 1: Pray for AHHC to be a beacon of light to those with weary, lonely hearts so that they might find hope and comfort in Jesus.

Day 2: Pray for AHHC staff and volunteers to be filled with sincere love to pour out to those under their care.

Day 3: Pray for AHHC to stand firm in adversity and to persevere in truth, peace, and faithfulness.

Day 4: Pray for AHHC to abide deeply in the Word and in prayer so that they would be empowered to serve well.

Day 5: Pray for many to be drawn to the Father as they watch AHHC staff and volunteers love and serve those whom God has entrusted to them.

Day 6: Pray for Christ to receive all the glory, praise, and honor as He works through AHHC to care for widows and others with chronic health care needs.

This week we are praying for Northern Yemeni Arabs, an unengaged and unreached people group in Yemen. There are approximately 11 million Northern Yemeni Arabs inside the country of Yemen. The primary language is Sanaani Arabic and the primary religion is Shia Islam. Most of their people live in the northern mountains and northeastern deserts of Yemen, some are in the capital city of Sana’a. According to research, there are few if any Evangelical Christians in this people group and no one is actively engaging this people with the gospel. Join us as we pray for Northern Yemeni Arabs of Yemen. We are praying for our Jr. High Students who are serving in Atlanta this weekend.

Day 1: Yemen is one of the Arab world’s poorest countries and has been devastated by a civil war that began in 2015. Pray for God’s peace to come to the people and land of Yemen.

Day 2: Pray for Northern Yemeni Arabs to hunger for righteousness and forgiveness found only in the person and work of
Jesus Christ.

Day 3: Yemen is not easily accessible to outsiders and not open to Christian testimony. Pray for God to open doors into the country and into the Northern Yemeni community. Pray for the gospel to spread in ways that transcend boundaries.

Day 4: Pray for the few known believers outside of Yemen to grow in holiness and love. Pray for access into their homeland where they can share Christ and make His name known to their families and communities.

Day 5: Pray for God to raise up believers to count the cost and go for the sake of Northern Yemeni Arabs knowing Christ.

Day 6: Pray for God to move among Northern Yemeni Arabs. Pray for their hearts to be softened and their eyes opened to see their need for a Savior.
