Praise God for our Preschool Ministry. Ask Him to help us all see the role we have to play in raising up the next generation to follow after Christ. Pray for God to strengthen the staff and volunteers in our Preschool Ministry and to help us all show the love of Jesus to our families with preschoolers.

This week we are praying for the gospel to advance powerfully throughout the peoples and places in Birmingham, and for God to use our faith family as ambassadors for Christ by boldly proclaiming His message of reconciliation to those around us every day. We are also asking for prayer for our upcoming Gospel Conversations Training & Outreach on Sunday, February 9, and Saturday, February 15. This week we are also praying for Dawson Memorial Baptist and Pastor David Eldridge.

Day 1: Pray for our faith family to be delighted to share with others not only the gospel of salvation, but our lives as well, sacrificing our comfort and our calendars for the sake of gospel advancement in our city (1 Thessalonians 2:8). 

Day 2: Pray for us all to initiate and nurture relationships with unbelievers, providing a clear demonstration of the Spirit’s power in our own lives (1 Corinthians 2:4).

Day 3: Pray for Birmingham to be filled with healthy, reproducing churches and disciple-making disciples, for us to bear much fruit and that our fruit would abide (John 15:16).

Day 4: Pray for the Neighborhood Ministry Meeting on Sunday, February 23, and that God would raise up many neighborhood coordinators with a desire to make an impact for Christ across our city (Matthew 24:14).

Day 5: Pray for our Gospel Conversations Training on Sunday, February 9, and outreach on Saturday, February 15. Pray for members of our faith family to be well-equipped and emboldened to share the gospel, and that many who hear would trust in Christ (Acts 4:29-30).

Day 6: Pray for God’s Kingdom to come and His will to be done in Birmingham as His people surrender their calendars and comforts for the sake of gospel advancement (Matthew 6:10).

This week we are praying for Brook Hills Long-Term family Caleb and Beth T. serving in Southeast Asia. Caleb and Beth were sent out by Brook Hills almost a year ago to join strategic church planting work among least reached people groups in Southeast Asia. Currently they are part of a team where they are being immersed in language and culture so they can engage and share the gospel effectively in their city so many might know Christ and healthy multiplying churches can be established. Join us as we pray for Caleb and Beth and their family.

Day 1: Praise God for calling Caleb and Beth to Southeast Asia. Pray for God to use their family to make Himself known throughout their city.

Day 2: In the last few weeks Beth and Caleb’s city has experienced significant flooding due to unprecedented rainfall during the monsoon season. Praise God for sparing Caleb and Beth from significant issues, but many in their city are suffering and have even perished. Pray for opportunities for Caleb and Beth to love their neighbor and make much of Christ as they serve their community.

Day 3: Pray for Beth as she shares the gospel and studies the Bible with her friend Anne. Pray for Anne to see her need for a Savior and for her to surrender herself to Him.

Day 4: Caleb continues to work full time in language school and praise God is progressing well. Pray for God’s grace as he studies and for many opportunities to share the gospel with his teachers.

Day 5: Pray for Caleb and Beth’s family to love Christ more deeply, and abide in him daily depending on his strength and joy.

Day 6: Pray for a spiritual awakening throughout Southeast Asia and an openness to the good news.
