Praise God for the wisdom He so graciously reveals to us through His Word. Pray for each of us to have ears to hear and listen to God’s instructions on wisdom and to faithfully apply all we learn to our lives. Ask God to help us develop discernment to recognize the difference between what the world sees as wisdom and true wisdom that only comes from Him. Pray for others around us to see their need for wisdom which helps them recognize their need for God and the gospel.

This week we are praying for Aspire Movement (aspiremovement.org), a local Christian mentoring ministry aimed at developing and deploying the next generation of urban leaders through mutually transforming relationships. Aspire focuses on the mental, physical, spiritual, and social development of urban youth through life on life mentoring, small group mentoring, summer camps, college trips, career development, leadership development, and a network of resources to shape students’ identity, purpose and destiny. We are also praying for Tapestry Church and Pastor Deric Thomas.

Day 1: Pray for godly wisdom and discernment as Aspire seeks to grow their staff this year. Pray He would provide faithful and dedicated men and women to fill new roles.

Day 2: Pray for favor with schools and community partners so that Aspire can continue to provide holistic support to at-risk youth.

Day 3: Pray for the Lord to raise up more life-on-life mentors to invest long-term in urban youth.

Day 4: Pray for current life-on-life mentors to feel and know they are loved and are not alone in their laboring, and for them to be blessed, honored and encouraged in their willingness to mentor.

Day 5: Pray for the mentees and their families to experience the peace and compassion of God through relationships with
Christian mentors.

Day 6: Pray for the Aspire staff to take advantage of the slower pace of summer to recharge and recalibrate mentally, physically, and spiritually in order to pour out sacrificially to students and their families in the fall.

This week we are praying for the Sunda people, the largest unreached people group in Indonesia. There are over 37 million Sundanese and 99% are Muslim. There are less than 0.05% Evangelical Christians among them. The Sunda are only found in Indonesia and their primary language is Sundanese. While they are engaged with the gospel, they are still unreached. Join us this week as we pray for the Sunda people and for the gospel to spread throughout Indonesia. Day 1: Almost all Sunda are Muslim. Pray for a movement of God among the Sunda people. Pray for God to soften the hearts of the Sundanese so they will be receptive to the gospel.

Day 2: Praise God for followers of Jesus from Indonesia and beyond whose efforts have begun to produce fruit among the Sunda. Pray for God to open more doors into the Sunda community and for many to believe and be discipled so the gospel spreads throughout the Sunda community.

Day 3: Pray for God to strengthen, encourage, and protect the few Sundanese Christians.

Day 4: This last year Brook Hills sent a long-term family to serve among the Sunda people. Pray for God to raise up more people to go and effectively share Christ with the Sundanese.

Day 5: Pray for the very small group of Sundanese believers to be bold and faithful to reach out in love to their own people group. Pray for God to send others to encourage Sundanese believers in their faith.

Day 6: Pray for God’s glory to be known and His name worshiped among the Sunda people.
