Praise God for loving us and for granting us love for one another. Thank Him for our faith family, and ask Him to sustain us all through this time. Pray for wisdom and for God to grow our knowledge and understanding of Him and His Word. Ask Him to grow our trust in and reliance upon Him in our lives.

This week we are praying for the Brook Hills Hispanic Congregation as they seek to engage the Spanish speaking population in the Birmingham area with the gospel and make disciples who are making disciples under the leadership of Pastor Abner Aguilar.

Day 1: Pray for Pastor Abner Aguilar as he leads the Hispanic congregation to love Jesus, grow in Jesus, and make disciples of Jesus.

Day 2: Pray for the members of the Hispanic Congregation who have lost their jobs during the COVID-19 crisis. Pray for God’s provision during this time and for new job opportunities in the near future.

Day 3: Pray for the Hispanic online services that are being viewed each week by Spanish speakers from around the world. Pray for unsaved viewers to repent of their sin and to begin following Jesus.

Day 4: Pray for Hispanic believers to be a source of hope and testimony for their neighbors and families during this time.

Day 5: Pray for the current situation to cause many people to hunger for God more than ever before, and for many to return with a greater desire to grow in Jesus once we are able to gather together again.

Day 6: Pray for the Hispanic families who are homeschooling their children during quarantine. This daunting task is even more complicated across linguistic lines. Pray for patience and understanding for the parents and their children.

This week we are praying for Abby serving as a mid-termer in Southeast Asia. Abby works as a teacher at an international school in her city and is part of a broader effort to engage the least reached with the gospel in her city. Join us as we pray for Abby this week.

Day 1: Abby is returning to the US this week for a season. Pray for Abby as she travels and for God to protect her from exposure to the virus.

Day 2: Abby has been suffering with health issues. Pray for God to provide wisdom to doctors as they develop a clear diagnosis and treatment plan.

Day 3: Abby got engaged a few months ago and plans to have a wedding this summer. Praise God for this blessing in her life. Pray for Abby and her fiance’ Chad as they walk into marriage and form a new family. Pray for discernment as they make decisions together about Abby’s health and their future together in Southeast Asia.

Day 4: Pray for Abby and Chad as they prepare the return to Southeast Asia after their wedding. Pray for Abby and Chad to be dependent on the Father in all that they do. Pray they will be a help and blessing to their team and be able to contribute to the opening of doors for people to hear and respond to the Good News.

Day 5: Pray for this time in the U.S. to be a season of rest for Abby, both physically and spiritually. Pray for God to minister to Abby and encourage her as she spends time with her family and friends.

Day 6: Pray for many to come to faith in Christ as they hear the gospel from Abby. Pray for Christ to increase and for Abby
to decrease.
