Pray for the Church
Praise God for the peace, grace, and hope we have through Jesus Christ by our faith in Him. Pray we will all live confident of the justification God grants to us. Pray for Him to give us the strength to persevere through what struggles and hardships we suffer in this world. Ask the Holy Spirit to develop the character of Christ within each of us through His love at work in our lives.
Pray for the City
This week, we are praying for Widows First, a Christian nonprofit ministry designed to help relieve burdens from widows while sharing the gospel and demonstrating God’s unconditional love. Widows First serves widows by performing general maintenance and home repair services free of charge. This ministry is led by Brook Hills regular attenders, Mike and Lynn Patterson. We are also praying for Liberty Baptist Church, Chelsea, and Pastor Tim Cox.
DAY 1: Pray for the spiritual and physical wellbeing of those served by Widows First. Pray that they will respond in faith to the demonstration and declaration of the gospel.
DAY 2: Pray for the Widows First staff and volunteers as they minister to widows, widowers, elderly couples, and their families. Pray that they would draw strength from the Lord as they sow spiritual seeds and wait for the harvest.
DAY 3: Pray for the widows in financial need who are struggling to make ends meet. Pray for financial support for the ministry of Widows First to continue the ministry.
DAY 4: Pray for the widows facing poor health conditions, specifically for the elderly widow with dementia who is in need of full-time care.
DAY 5: Pray for the widows who have been left to carry heavy burdens of responsibility on their own, specifically the young mother raising a special needs child and the mother raising two teenagers.
DAY 6: Pray for widows whose hearts have been hardened by their difficult circumstances.
Pray for the World
This week, Brook Hills will send out 65 of our students on Short-Term mission to serve partners in Ecuador, Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua. Each of these students will have the opportunity to share the gospel and strengthen the local church in all three of these countries. Join us this week as we pray for our students and for God to use them for His glory as they serve.
DAY 1: Our students in Nicaragua will be serving alongside Pastor Martine and his faith family by hosting different conferences for the community they are in. Pray for people in the community who will come into the church for the first time. Pray for our students to help create an environment so Pastor Martine can build gospel relationships with families in his community.
DAY 2: Our students will be serving with Pastor Robert in the Dominican Republic and will have many opportunities to publicly share the gospel and their testimony of faith. Pray for God to help our students clearly communicate the gospel and for those who hear it to believe.
DAY 3: Pray for our students who will be traveling to Ecuador to serve with Pastor Jairo. Pray for God to give each student perseverance as they hit the ground running with a busy schedule. Pray for God to make our students bold as they share the gospel.
DAY 4: Praise God for the opportunities our students will have to experience new countries, new cultures, and glimpses of the global church. Pray for God to use these experiences to develop in our students a burning desire to see the gospel go forward among all nations.
DAY 5: Pray for God to open doors into homes and communities this week so our students can be effective in their gospel witness. Pray for many to hear the gospel for the first time.
DAY 6: Pray that God will give our students a posture of servanthood as they come alongside the local pastors and churches. Pray for our teams to be an encouragement to the brothers and sisters that they are serving with.

Held in chains by the enemy

I am free I am free

And from now through eternity
I am free I am free

What once was dead is now alive
You gave to me the breath of life
You brought me up out from the grave
I'm bursting out with songs of praise
Worthy of Your Name
Worthy Of Your Name
Verse 1
Rumors of the Son of Man
Stories of a Savior
Holiness with human hands
Treasure for the traitor
No ear has heard no eye has seen
The image of the Father
Until heaven came to live with me
A rescue like no other
Chorus 1
(Yes) You are worthy
You are worthy of Your name
You are worthy yes You are
You are worthy of Your name Jesus
Verse 2
You did not speak You made no sound
You died for Your accusers
And as Your blood fell to the ground
You redefined my future
Yeah on the day that You arose
The darkness ran for cover
For the King of kings has claimed His throne
Now until forever

You Never Change
Oh may I run to no other refuge
No other rest for my soul
Oh may I drink from no other fountain
Where living waters will flow
Jesus you're all I need
Jesus you're all I need
You are my life, may You be lifted high
There is no other like Jesus Christ
You are my story, You're my everything
You are my glory, my God and my King
You are my rock, and You never change
No other power can break the darkness
No other hand that can save
Forever faithful, Your love is stronger
I trust in no other name
Jesus you're all I need
Jesus you're all I need
My strength to stand, all of my days are in Your hand
My light to see, Your glory goes before me (x2)
My King, You reign
My rock and You never change

O Lord My Rock and My Redeemer
Verse 1
O Lord my Rock and my Redeemer
Greatest treasure of my longing soul

Your love exceeds the heavens' reach
Your truth a fount of perfect wisdom
My highest good and my unending need
Verse 2
O Lord my Rock and my Redeemer
Strong defender of my weary heart

And my shield against his hateful darts

My hope when tides of sorrow rise
My joy when trials are abounding
Your faithfulness my refuge in the night
Verse 3
O Lord my Rock and my Redeemer
Gracious Savior of my ruined life
My guilt and cross laid on Your shoulders

May all my days bring glory to Your Name
O Praise the Name
Verse 1
I cast my mind to Calvary
Where Jesus bled and died for me
I see His wounds His hands His feet
My Savior on that cursed tree
Verse 2
His body bound and drenched in tears
They laid Him down in Joseph's tomb
The entrance sealed by heavy stone
Messiah still and all alone
Chorus
O praise the Name of the Lord our God
O praise His Name forevermore
For endless days we will sing Your praise
O Lord O Lord our God
Verse 3
Then on the third at break of dawn
The Son of heaven rose again
O trampled death where is your sting
The angels roar for Christ the King
Verse 4
He shall return in robes of white
The blazing sun shall pierce the night
And I will rise among the saints
My gaze transfixed on Jesus' face
