Praise God for the victory He guarantees us in Christ. Ask Him to help us resist temptation and to take our stand against evil equipped with the armor of God. Pray for Him to strengthen us all to endure and persevere in our faith.

This week we are praying for Sav-A-Life Shelby, a pregnancy resource ministry hose

mission is to develop a culture of life and to offer the hope of the gospel. By providing

free, confidential services in a compassionate and loving environment to women, men,

and families facing an unplanned pregnancy, Sav-A-Life Shelby hopes to see clients

across Shelby County choose life for themselves and for their unborn child. We are also praying for First Baptist Church, Pelham and Pastor Daven Watkins.

DAY 1: Pray for the clients seeking help at both the Pelham and Chelsea locations. Pray that each one would encounter Jesus and be transformed by the Gospel. Pray that each client would choose life for themselves and their unborn child.

DAY 2: Pray for the volunteer workforce of Sav-A-Life Shelby. With a new location, Sav-A-Life Shelby will need additional client advocates, appointment setters, and scribes. Pray that God would raise up new volunteers to serve at both centers.

DAY 3: Pray for the Sav-A-Life Shelby staff and new Executive Director, Bobby Lewis, to seek God’s will and yield to His plans for the ministry. Pray for wisdom for the Sav-A-Life Shelby board as they seek God’s guidance and provision.

DAY 4: Pray for the medical care team. Pray that as they help clients see their babies for the first time, the Lord would give them the ability to speak truth in love in every instance. Pray for their hearts and their strength as they seek to strengthen others in hard places.

DAY 5: Pray for financial provision. Pray that new one-time and recurring monthly donors will give generously for the sake of life. Pray that their generosity will encourage others in their circles to also give. Pray for the Sav-A-Life Shelby team to be good stewards of all that God has given them.

DAY 6: Pray a prayer of thanksgiving for the thirty-eight years Sav-A-Life Shelby has been in existence. Praise God for the many men and women that have served within their doors over the past four decades and the many women and their families that have chosen life throughout the years.

This week we are praying for a family who is part of our team in the Desert City, Taylor, Julia, and their girls, Hali, Lucia, and Eliza.  

DAY 1: Pray for Taylor, Julia, and their girls, that they would grow closer to God and to one another.

DAY 2: Hali and Lucia are visually impaired. Pray that the Lord would give this family unique opportunities to reach families and people impacted by disability.

DAY 3: Pray that this family would continue to grow in evangelism, investing in relationships and taking every opportunity to point people to Jesus. 

DAY 4: Pray that they would press into discipleship and be faithful in teaching and equipping new believers.

DAY 5: Pray for their church, that they would have unity in a city of great diversity and that they would grow in their dedication to the Word and disciple-making.

DAY 6: Pray that the Lord would give them sustaining grace as they navigate life with small children in a large and bustling Global City.
